Now you know me or do you really?
What is a status on facebook? Some people say how they are feeling or what they are doing and then other people say the most random things! I personally don't care to update my status, ever! Unless someone puts something on there. I do not get why people spend hours a day just updating their status to let random people know what they are doing. Why do people feel obligated to write weird or personal things as their status for everyone to see.

I agree. People are so open about their personal lives on facebook. Its actually disturbing the things people put on their statuses. Do they think the world really cares that they are taking a shower? Or that they have class until whatever time, then going out to dinner with whoever? I personally don't care what people are doing. Especially when people trash talk others using their statuses? Like get real people. Grow some balls and tell the person to their face that you have a problem with them.
ReplyDeleteI think statuses are good for promiting causes and stuff like that. I mean it is entertaining when people put statuses up that are funny, but some take it a bit to far. I just think people need to remain facebook curtious. When I say facebook curtious I mean that I don't care if your boyfriend cheated on you (keep it personal) or I dont care what colour underwear your wearing either (something else personal).People on facebook need to keep their personal lives PERSONAL.
I agree Victoria, I am an avid user of Facebook; even have the facebook application on my phone...I constantly get message throughout the day about what someone is doing. Just now I recieve a notification that someone was putting on there long-johns. Who cares!!! We know it is cold outside, and you probably have to put on long-johns. I also hate that fact that people love to qoute famous poets or political figures, the application says,"whats on your mind?", not what was on someone elses mind. If you are reading this and you happen to be a status junkie, continue to make comedy, but just like any old joke.....I've heard it before.
